AI readiness
AI readiness is how prepared an organisation actually is to get value from AI, measured rather than estimated. It covers what people can do with AI today, whether the culture permits it, whether the data and systems can carry it, and whether anyone can prove the result to a board.
Also called: AI maturity, AI readiness assessment.
How it is measured
By measuring the workforce directly instead of interviewing a steering committee. Validated instruments ask people to work through realistic scenarios, and the results roll up by team. Nothing is inferred from a maturity grid or a self-rated questionnaire alone.
What AI readiness is not
Not a technology audit, and not a maturity level on a five-point scale. A company can own every tool on the market and have no readiness, because readiness is a property of people, permission and proof rather than of software.
