Glossary
The words we use, defined.
Some of these are industry terms used in a specific way. Some we coined, which means we owe you a definition rather than a brochure. Each page says what the term means, how it is measured, and what it is not.
AI readiness
AI readiness is how prepared an organisation actually is to get value from AI, measured rather than estimated.
SkilliScore
SkilliScore is a single 0 to 1000 index of a group’s AI readiness, combining measured fluency, leadership signal and motivation.
AI Fluency (AIQ)
AI Fluency, or AIQ, measures how fluently a person actually puts AI to work, across seven dimensions.
AI Technical Knowledge (AICK)
AI Technical Knowledge, or AICK, measures technical depth about how AI works, its limits and its safe use.
AI Role Fit (AIRF)
AI Role Fit identifies a person’s AI working-style archetype and their potential to lead AI work.
Culture & Climate (CNC)
Culture & Climate measures how ready an organisation’s culture is to let people use AI: whether it is permitted, whether mistakes are survivable, and whether leaders model it.
AI Role Horizon
AI Role Horizon maps how automatable a role’s tasks are against what safe adoption would actually cost the organisation.
AI Cyber Risk
AI Safe Use measures where AI is actually being used in an organisation, what information reaches it, and what the organisation has provided to make that safe.
Champion Mapping
Champion Mapping identifies the people who will actually carry AI adoption in an organisation, on measured fluency rather than on who volunteered.
AI Opportunity Matrix
The AI Opportunity Matrix plots readiness against value, cohort by cohort, so an organisation can see which AI initiatives are ready to run and which are being funded on hope.
AI Value Potential (AIVCP)
AI Value Potential captures where the people closest to the P&L believe AI can create value, separated into what they think about the company and what they think about their own department.
Privacy floor (n ≥ 5)
The privacy floor is the rule that no figure is reported for a group of fewer than five people.
